We at The Pulse are interested in growing in our knowledge of, and relationship with God.
We have found that the best way to grow is to read and interact with the Scriptures. Small Groups of friends who study Scripture together are the best environments to grow in our relationship with God. Our Bible Studies challenge people to read Scriptures privately so we can discuss what God is saying when we meet together.
Small groups also provide a forum in which we can discuss what these Scriptures mean to our daily lives. Ultimately, this is the environment where we challenge and support each other.
If you would like to join or even start a small group, please feel free to let us know through the Contact page.
At our church, we enjoy serving others as Jesus demonstrated.
The Pulse provides several opportunities to serve on a weekly basis in Tropical Park at our weekend services. We all enjoy serving the Lord together.
In addition, we want to serve our community and meet needs as we seek to represent Christ together. There is no better feeling than to make a difference alongside people who love Jesus together.
If you are interested in serving with us, please contact us through our Contact page. We would love to tell you all the ways to get involved.
At the Pulse of Miami Church we want to help you connect to God and connect to our church.
The best environment to connect at our church is our weekend services. Every Sunday we meet in the most beautiful park in South Florida (Tropical Park) to worship and learn about God together. This is an environment that anyone can come to and can feel welcome in.
We also have events throughout the year that help people connect to God and our church. Look on our calendar to see a list of Connect events that will help you, your friends, and your family connect to our church and God.
The original Scriptures are God’s Word without error. Human authors were inspired by the Holy Spirit to write God’s Word. Understanding the Bible requires the work of the Holy Spirit and accurately interpreting Scripture. We believe that the historical/grammatical method of interpretation is the most accurate way to interpret Scripture. This method utilizes the historical and textual context in which a particular passage was written, and analyzes the original language in order to accurately interpret the passage.
(Exodus 24:4; Psalm 19:7-10; Isaiah 40:8; Jeremiah 36:1-2; Matthew 5:17-18; Luke 21:33; Luke 24:44-46; John 16:13-15; John 17:17; Romans 16:25-26; 2 Timothy 3:15-17)
There is only one God, but there are three persons of God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God has always and will always exist. He is the author of all creation and His character defines everything that is good and holy.
(Genesis 1:1; Genesis 2:7; Leviticus 19:2; Leviticus 22:2; Deuteronomy 6:4; Jeremiah 10:10; Matthew 28:19; Mark 1:9-11; John 1:1, 14; John 14:6-13; 1 Peter 1:16)
Jesus is God’s only Son. Jesus is completely God and completely human and He is the only way to eternal life with God.
(Matthew 14:33; Matthew 16:16; Mark 3:11; Luke 1:35; Luke 24:46; John 1:1, 14; John 10:38)
God created mankind as His crowning achievement of all creation. Humanity has chosen to rebel against God (sin), which separates every person from a perfect and holy God. Every person is damaged by that sin in this life and is doomed to spend an eternity in complete separation from God.
(Genesis 1:26-30; Genesis 2:7; Genesis 2:18-22; Psalm 51:5; Isaiah 6:5; Acts 17:26-3; Romans 3:10-18; Romans 5:12)
God loved humanity too much to leave people in their rebellion. God gave His only Son to live a perfect and holy life on Earth, but then to die a substitutionary death for all mankind on the cross. Jesus’s resurrection from the grave proved that Jesus is who He said He is and He can do what He said He can do. Those who put their faith in Christ are saved from the effects of their rebellion by the grace given through Jesus.
(Matthew 1:21; Matthew 16:21-26; Matthew 27:22-28:6; John 1:11-14; John 3:3-21; John 3:36; John 10:28-29; Acts 2:21; Acts 17:30-31)
Since Jesus is now in heaven, it is the job of His church to represent Christ through obedience and to love the world that is still in rebellion to God just as Jesus did. The church is to tell the world about the good news of Jesus and to teach people how to follow Jesus.
(Matthew 16:15-19; Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:41-47; Acts 14:27; Acts 15:19; Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 5:22-32)
